When Squirrels Attack

A lot of humans still don’t understand the fundamental threat they face everyday from squirrels. If it weren’t for the united effort of countless dogs everyday, the squirrels would become the dominant mammal on the planet. Once squirrels ruled the world it would be very hard to talk one into driving you to the store since their legs aren’t long enough to reach the pedals. I found a great video today illustrating just how aggressive these little demon rats are, in it a squirrel attacks a deer. While most humans still they they are cute, just look how quickly this deer is taken down.

Woof. Scary. Woof.

Hi. We are “pawing it forward”!! We saw your listing on Dogs with Blogs and thought we would say hello.

I love squirrels and chipmunks too - when we visit Gramma out in the country I chase them all out of her yard!!!

We enjoyed your blog and hope to help you and other doggies scare away all those furry yard pests!

Kill all squirrels. Track them, kill them, eat them.

    Hi there Layla
Some great pix. Black labradors have a mind of their own. We used to have one. Smell water - immediately deaf.
Hope you haven’t stopped posting. Pippa has just started his own blog so we are busy reading what other colleagues get up to. No squirrels here in Spain.

Layla - I, and my sister TOTALLY agree with you! We’re so glad we found your site. We have a squirrel problem at our house. Our mom thinks it’s FUNNY, but it’s NOT. They TAUNT us relentlessly. They chatter and shake their tails at us. It isn’t right. Good luck on your quest!

Squirrels! I want some pawback! Yesterday my huMom took me outside and this little squirrel was sitting under our oak tree out front. The bugger attacked the nice neighbor lady a few days ago and she was all scratched up. I stared him down pulling on my leash and trying to convince Mom to let me take him out. He stared back at me and I inched forward and that’s when the little monster attacked! I had to protect Mom so I tried to bite him. He jumped on top of my head and ran off my back. Then he retreated to the neighbor’s tree like a coward. I’ll get him next time! Layla you are so right in calling them demon rats. So fellow dogs, beware of the evil squirrels and their plots against our humans!
