I tried to stay up and watch Dick Clark last night but football always makes me sleepy. I ended up sleeping right through midnight only to wake up at 3 am to have to go outside. I’ve spent some time thinking about my New Year’s resolutions and I’ve finished my list.

• Give more kisses. People seem to like it when you lick their faces and I like to make people happy.
• Spend more time studying the squirrels. I know I’m close to a major breakthrough here.
• Stop barking inside. (Scott made me add this one.)
